Installing Replicator


 The steps to install Replicator:
  1. Install j2sdk1.5.0.11 updates or above. To download a recent version of j2sdk, click the link : Sun Java Standard Edition SDK.

  2. Download the Replicator.zip file clicking the link Replicator as mentioned in the Download Daffodil Replicator section. The Replicator.zip file can run on any operating system on which JVM is installed.

  3. Unzip the Replicator.zip file.

  4. Copy all the required DataSource driver jars to Replicator lib folder to replicate data between heterogeneous databases.

  5. Note: Replicator, by default, does not include any DataSource driver jars. To more information about driver jars, click the link http://enterprise.replicator.daffodilsw.com/recommended-jdbc-drivers.html


  6. To start working with Replicator, open Replicator bin folder. Double-click the Replicator.bat file (for Windows) or Replicator.sh file (for Linux). Following window appears:

  7. Note: Check that the JAVA_HOME and PATH environment variable are set before installing Replicator.
